The Invisible River

The Invisible River was commissioned for the first festival of Theatrescience India (developed with Tinderbox Consultants, UK). Set on the banks of Hinduism’s holiest river, the Ganges, whose waters are believed to be purifying, the play explores conflicts between religion and science. The promotional graphics juxtapose the geometrical and the organic to reflect rational thought and faith. The illustration, that of a “sadhu” (sage) in ablution is rendered in single color to create dramatic effect and contain production costs.
