CouchCouch is a warm and comfortable extension of your ‘living room’. Like a home that evolves with time and travel, an eclectic mix of furniture, accessories, objects and art come together to form a cozy yet chic lounge bar. In addition to creating the name and identity, we collaborated closely with architects Khosla Associates to design wallpapers, bespoke objects and art pieces. The identity is boxy and retro; the symbol, reminiscent of a motif on an old couch.

Bespoke Lamp: The quintessential image of a cat snuggled on a couch inspired this humorous lamp in the entrance foyer

stitch binding detail
 Graphic Balustrade
Wallpaper Signage: Kitsch decorative wallpaper dresses the entrance to the rest rooms and forms the signage as well
 Balustrade: An image of an old-fashioned iron balustrade printed on frosted glass adds a nostalgic layer to a contemporary form
 Art: A retro velvet dancing shoe in exaggerated proportions and gilded frame makes a tongue-in-cheek pop artwork. The shoe was crafted by a cobbler, then photographed and printed on canvas
